The TRNSMT Festival has been rescheduled for September 10-12 with Liam Gallagher, Primal Scream, Kean and Snow Patrol.
Festival Postponed to September
The TRNSMT festival was originally set for July but it has been rescheduled for September 10-12 due to last year’s pandemic.
Line-Up Highlights
Artists performing at Glasgow Green include Liam Gallagher, Primal Scream, Keane, and Snow Patrol. Other performers include Blossoms, Amy Macdonald, and Courteeners.
Line-Up Changes
Due to the rescheduling, some changes have been made, with The Chemical Brothers will replace Lewis Capaldi, while Primal Scream, Dermot Kennedy, and Becky Hill have joined the line-up.
Nathan Evans Joins the Show
Nathan Evans, a former postman from Airdrie, is also set to perform. He gained fame for his viral sea-shanty videos on TikTok and later signed with Polydor Records.
Statement from Festival Director Geoff Ellis
Geoff Ellis stated:
“We are delighted to announce our September dates. We initially planned for July, but September gives us more preparation time and a chance to host a fantastic event.”
He added:
“We will work with authorities to ensure all guidelines are followed.”
Lewis Capaldi Focuses on New Album
Lewis Capaldi announced he will return for the July 2022 TRNSMT festival. He made the “difficult decision” to reschedule his shows to focus on his upcoming album.
He posted on Twitter, “I hate letting anyone down, but getting the album right is my top priority.”
Liam Gallagher Headlines Saturday
Liam Gallagher will headline on Saturday. He shared his excitement, saying, “Brothers and sisters, can’t wait to blow your minds at TRNSMT in Glasgow. It’s been far too long.”
Additional Performers
Other confirmed artists include Twin Atlantic, Picture This, Sea Girls, and Vistas.

Tickets for TRNSMT 2021 are available at www.trnsmtfest.com. Previously purchased tickets are valid for the equivalent days in September.
