Liam Gallagher has denied rumors of a documentary about the upcoming Oasis 2025 reunion tour.
The Britpop heroes first announced their long-awaited reunion in August.
The tour will cover the UK and Ireland. Later, they confirmed performances in North America and Australia, which will happen in late October and early November and has been extended twice due to “phenomenal demand.”
Since the announcement, there have been reports about a documentary covering their reunion journey and their massive concerts.
According to The Sun, earlier this year, AppleTV+ executives were reportedly offering “huge money” to acquire the rights to a film.
The film would be similar to the Beatles‘ “Get Back,” which captured the making of the iconic band’s 1970 album, “Let It Be.”
However, Liam Gallagher has now denied these claims.
“If there is a documentary, I’m not gonna be in it.”
Responding to a fan on Twitter/X on October 18, who asked how the filming was going, Liam wrote:
“We’re not doing one. I’m not gonna be in it anyway. I’m doing the gigs. There’s been enough said about this band. It’s time to get rocking and rolling, not yapping and scrapping.”
Replying to another fan who said there’s “no need” for interviews about the reunion, Liam Gallagher added, “Exactly. We’ve been over this a million times. Some people have different versions than others. We’re back, and that’s all that matters to me and should matter to the REAL fans of the band.”
