[RUMORS] Is Drew McConnell going to be Liam Gallagher’s new bass player?

Rumor has it that Drew McConnell, bass guitarist and backing vocalist with the Babyshambles, has been chosen to be Liam Gallagher’s new bass player.

Nothing is confirmed, yet; but earlier today Pete Doherty -frontman of the Babyshambles- posted something on Twitter:

“What’s happening? I’ll tell thee…stressification on bandfront. Drew playing bass guitar for Liam Gallagher’s new tour gig.”

Just a few minutes later, he deleted the tweet.
