Liam Gallagher has shared his recent health issues on Twitter, with the singer fearing he had caught Coronavirus.
With the cases of the life-threatening bug continuing to rise, the former Oasis frontman admitted he thought he had contracted the disease following his tour in Europe.
Having recently performed in Paris, where the first French person carrying the new coronavirus died on Tuesday, the 47-year-old admitted he was “scared” by the outbreak.
“We are facing a crisis, an epidemic that is coming,” France’s President Emmanuel Macron said while visiting staff at the La Pitie-Salpetriere hospital.
One fan asked: “Liam what’s ur thoughts on coronavirus? The situation is getting more and more complicated.”
“It’s very confusing and scary though,” he replied.
“I feel like I’ve had it 7 times the last few days then realised the house is just hot.”
And one witty fan replied back: “Take your parka off pal, won’t feel the benefit when you do go out.”
He followed up his tweet, by playfully writing “achoo” to his 3.1million Twitter followers.
Liam’s tweet comes just hours after it was confirmed two patients have tested positive for coronavirus in England, bringing the total number of cases to 15 in the UK. According to England’s chief medical officer Prof Chris Whitty, the virus was contracted while they were holidaying in Italy and Tenerife.
And ministers have revealed more cases are set to emerge.
The infected patients are currently seeking medical attention at specialist centres located at the Royal Free Hospital, London, and the Royal Liverpool Hospital.
