Liam Gallagher confirms he and John Squire are talking about forming a supergroup.
The Stone Roses guitarist joined Liam Gallagher for Knebworth shows last August.
For the occasion, the Mancunian singer teased his fans with this tweet:
โSuper group incoming LG JS,โ
Speaking with Matt Wilkinson on Apple Music 1, Liam Gallagher has said the pair are โdefinitelyโ going to work together.
โYeah. Serious, man. But weโve got things to do first, and heโs got things to clear up and that. But yeah, Iโm definitely going to do summat at some point.โ
Going on with the interview Wilkinson asked if Liam and Squire have actually had the conversation a little bit.
He replied: โMaybe, yeah. Probably did that at Knebworth and that, I think, if I can remember anything about it.”
โBut, no. Thereโs talk about summat. Maybe. But no rush. Heโs my man, I love him. So if heโs got any tunes that need singing, Iโm the boy, mate.โ
