Liam Gallagher confirms he and John Squire are talking about forming a supergroup.
The Stone Roses guitarist joined Liam Gallagher for Knebworth shows last August.
For the occasion, the Mancunian singer teased his fans with this tweet:
βSuper group incoming LG JS,β
Speaking with Matt Wilkinson on Apple Music 1, Liam Gallagher has said the pair are βdefinitelyβ going to work together.
βYeah. Serious, man. But weβve got things to do first, and heβs got things to clear up and that. But yeah, Iβm definitely going to do summat at some point.β
Going on with the interview Wilkinson asked if Liam and Squire have actually had the conversation a little bit.
He replied: βMaybe, yeah. Probably did that at Knebworth and that, I think, if I can remember anything about it.”
βBut, no. Thereβs talk about summat. Maybe. But no rush. Heβs my man, I love him. So if heβs got any tunes that need singing, Iβm the boy, mate.β
