Liam Gallagher hits back at critics who mocked his vocals at Wembley Stadium

Liam Gallagher hits back at critics who mocked his vocals at Wembley Stadium: “You ain’t real fans, you’re just imposters.”

He performed several Oasis classics before Anthony Joshua‘s boxing match against Daniel Dubois on September 21.

Liam Gallagher reacted after social media criticized his vocals ahead of Anthony Joshua’s boxing match against Daniel Dubois on September 21.

The frontman gave fans a preview of the 2025 Oasis reunion tour by performing three tracks from the 1994 album ‘Definitely Maybe’: ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Star’, ‘Supersonic’, and ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’ at Wembley Stadium.

However, some fans were quick to criticize him. Some even expressed relief at missing out on Oasis tickets.

“Good job Liam Gallagher sold those tickets early doors!” wrote ESPN commentator Rob Palmer on X.

Another user wrote:

“All those fools who spent thousands on Oasis tickets for next year. Liam Gallagher sounds terrible at Wembley tonight. Enjoy, suckers….”

Another person added: “I don’t think there’s been a worse performance at Wembley than what Liam Gallagher just did.”

This prompted Gallagher to respond.

To all those SHITC***S crying about my ANGELIC TONES last night, you ain’t real fans, you’re just IMPOSTERS. If you do have tickets, get rid of them. I’ll gladly take them off your hands. We don’t want the likes of you at our concerts next year anyway.”

He later followed up with another tweet featuring a drawing of a bird and the words:

You will not stop me from singing my song. I will sing it forever.

Throughout the performance, Gallagher could be seen gesturing angrily toward the sound desk.

He explained his frustration on X when a fan asked: “I saw you make gestures to the sound guy during Supersonic, but that’s all I saw. You sounded great to me, absolutely buzzing for next year now.” Gallagher replied: “Yes, 3 guitars on that stage, and I couldn’t hear 1.”

When another fan asked why he missed the first line of the song, Gallagher again replied: “Couldn’t hear guitars, all 3 of them.”
