Liam Gallagher has honoured with a blue plaque outside the Lidl store ahead of Manchester concerts.
The opening concerts at the Manchester Co-op Live venue were postponed or moved due to technical issues in April and May.
Liam Gallagher joked saying he’d do a “gig in Lidl” if the shows for his DM 30th Anniversary Tour were affected.
Fortunately the venue opened on 14th May and Liam Gallagher’ shows are going ahead as planned.
Lidl Newton Heath store in Manchester then unveiled a tongue-in-cheek commemoration to the ‘what could have been’ moment by installing a blue plaque.
