The former Oasis singer has joined forces with the Snow Patrol musician. Speaking about the new musical pairing to The Sun, a music insider said: ”It’s all set to kick off with Liam, but this time it’s about the music.
‘He’s actually been rather savvy, getting on board some established and well-respected writers, like Johnny, despite his negative views on Snow Patrol previously. ”Liam still has the support of the hardcore Oasis following who will be keen to buy his records. ”Whether or not he can still attract other music lovers will be down to his new material.”
And the 43-year-old rocker will also go ahead and work with Brendan Benson – who co-wrote Jake Bugg’s ‘Shangri La’ album. However, the Manchester-born star insists there is no truth to the rumours that him and his brother Noel will be reuniting because his sibling is ”too busy being beige” for an Oasis reunion.
