SPECULATION is mounting that Liam Gallagher is set to headline this year’s Kendal Calling after a music app revealed the former Oasis frontman would be performing in Kendal “in seven months”.
Kendal Calling 2018 is set to take place from Thursday July 26 to Sunday 29 – but the build-up begins this month.
The first wave of acts to appear at the festival, including some of the major headline names, usually arrives in January, so there isn’t long to wait until all is revealed.
However, the Songkick mobile phone app appears to have revealed that former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher will be performing.
Yesterday, the singer’s verified profile stated he will be playing in Kendal between July 25 and 29 – tallying with the dates for this year’s Kendal Calling.
The concert has since been removed from the Songkick app.
The Mail has contacted the festival for a response.
