Experts have claimed that listening to music such as Oasis, Adele and Celine Dion can cause a phenomenon named ‘skin orgasms’.
In a BBC article on the phenomenon, songs like Adele’s ‘Someone Like You’, Oasis’ ‘Wonderwall’ and Celine Dion’s ‘My Heart Will Go On’ are listed as examples that can create what they call ‘skin orgasms’.”Sudden changes in harmony, dynamic leaps (from soft to loud), and melodic appoggiaturas (dissonant notes that clash with the main melody, like you’ll find in Adele’s Someone Like You) seem to be particularly powerful,” BBC’s David Robson writes.
