Noel Gallagher has teamed up with Manchester City launching a brand-new kit inspired by the iconic album Definitely Maybe.
The release coincides with Oasis’s highly anticipated reunion and their announcement of 2025 live shows, celebrating the 30th anniversary of their breakthrough debut album Definitely Maybe. The design of the kit draws inspiration from the instantly recognizable album artwork.
The limited-edition jersey features a light straw base color, complemented by bold blue side panels, and detailed pink cuffs and accents. Marine blue outlines of supersonic waves add an intricate touch to the sleeves.
The kit will make its debut on September 18 at the Etihad Stadium, when Manchester City faces Inter Milan. It will also be worn in select European away matches throughout the season.
This jersey is part of a larger Definitely Maybe collection, which includes a track jacket, pants, overshirt, bomber jacket, t-shirt, polo shirt, retro jersey, and drill top.
Noel Gallagher expressed his excitement about the collaboration:
I loved City before anything. Definitely Maybe is what started it all for us. It’s a great working-class, Mancunian record – real and timeless.
When PUMA approached us at one of the games about designing a kit, it took me five seconds to agree. The color palette is taken directly from Definitely Maybe, and I think it looks fantastic. It’s important that our team looks good while representing the club.
As part of PUMA‘s sustainability efforts, the replica jerseys are made from 100% recycled materials, excluding trims and decorations.
The promotional images feature Manchester City players Kyle Walker, Jess Park, Mateo Kovačić, and Ederson, captured in a living room set designed to resemble the iconic Definitely Maybe album cover.
PUMA’s Senior Head of Product Line Management, Marco Mueller, shared his thoughts on the kit:
“The 24/25 Definitely City kit is more than sportswear. It’s a tribute to Manchester City’s journey and the cultural impact of Definitely Maybe. We’ve combined cutting-edge technology with a design that honors both the club’s legacy and the influence of this classic album.”
Earlier this year, Noel Gallagher also collaborated with Manchester City by designing the font for the team’s home kit.
His handwritten script was used for all squad names and numbers on the cup shorts for the season.
