Noel Gallagher spoke to BBC Radio 5 Live after Manchester City Premier League‘s title saying: “I’m not an England fan, I’m Irish”.
The Mancunian songwriter was interviewed by BBC Radio 5 Live in occasion of Man City’s 4th Premier League title in a row.
“It means we are now out on our own as, you know, the greatest club side in England,”
“No one’s done four in a row. It puts us above Liverpool, Man United, and Arsenal – and much deserved. It’s been a great season, and we’re not even at our best apparently!”
He also shared some appreciation for Phil Phoden who scored two goals in the last match.
But when got asked if he cares about how the midfielder plays representing England at the Euros he replied:
I’m not an England fan, I’m Irish. Good night!
