Oasis have confirmed that Richard Ashcroft will be their special guest for their 2025 UK and Ireland tour.
The former Verve frontman will open for the Britpop band at each date next summer. The tour includes seven nights at Wembley Stadium in London and five shows at Heaton Park in Manchester.
Recent reports suggested that Ashcroft would join Liam and Noel Gallagher on the road for Oasis Live ’25. There are rumors that Cast will also join, though they haven’t been officially announced yet.
In a statement, Ashcroft said:
“As a fan from day one, I was buzzing when Oasis announced their return.”
He continued:
“The songwriting talent of Noel and Liam’s pure energy as a frontman inspired me to create some of my best work. The perfection of ‘Live Forever’ pushed me to write my own songs.”
He added:
“They dared to dream big, made our dreams a reality, and those memories will last forever. Now it’s time to create more. I’m ready to bring it. See you next summer. Music is power.”
