Oasis could return to Knebworth in 2026

Oasis are reportedly considering a show to the legendary venue of Knebworth for 2026 to mark the 30th anniversary.

As reported by The Sun’s ‘Bizarre’ column (via Music News), Noel and Liam Gallagher are considering the idea.

A return to Knebworth sounds like a pipe dream but it’s now something that is being considered by Noel and Liam.

They are fully committed to their comeback next year and want to see how they gel first before making this idea a reality.

The potential return is seen as not only a nostalgic trip back to a legendary venue but also a chance for Oasis to break records.

Oasis are aware that revisiting Knebworth in 2026 could potentially allow them to surpass Robbie Williams’ 2003 record of three sell-out shows at the venue.

Henry Lytton-Cobbold, the owner of Knebworth House, also weighed in on the possibility last month.

Speaking to BBC News, he joked:

“Wembley is a reasonable warm-up venue for Knebworth. Then get ready for a nice huge 30th shindig in 2026.”

“That’s what the people want and they seem pretty good at doing what the people want. It would be a great way to have the best party of all parties.”
