Oasis memorabilia to go up for auction

Some Oasis memorabilia including Noel Gallagher golf’s buggy and Liam‘s tambourine will go up for auction.

More than 60 Iconic Oasis Items Up for Auction, Including Noel Gallagher‘s Guitars and Handwritten Lyrics

Over 60 exclusive items will be available at the upcoming Propstore online auction, featuring 18 of Noel Gallagher’s guitars and handwritten lyrics to some of Oasis‘ biggest hits.

Among the top highlights is a custom Silver Sparkle Gibson Les Paul Florentine guitar, once described by Noel as “the best in the world,” which is expected to sell for between £200,000 and £400,000.

Noel’s handwritten lyrics to the iconic hit Wonderwall are estimated to fetch between £4,000 and £8,000, while a set of lyrics for Supersonic and Live Forever, autographed by both Gallagher brothers, is expected to sell for £3,000 to £6,000.

Fans will also have the chance to bid on a tambourine that Liam Gallagher used during a live performance. Although the specific date and venue are unknown, a similar tambourine auctioned in 2022 sold for £2,000 to £3,000.

This auction comes shortly after the band announced their long-awaited reunion.

Oasis will embark on their first tour since their 2009 breakup, with the Oasis Live 25 tour selling out within hours on August 31.

Due to overwhelming demand, the band added two more shows at Wembley Stadium, bringing the total to seven performances in London.

Additionally, they will perform five dates in Manchester, three in Edinburgh, and two each in Cardiff and Dublin.

One of the most unique items available is a golf buggy featuring psychedelic paintwork inspired by John Lennon’s Rolls Royce Phantom V limousine.

The vehicle, a gift from Noel’s former wife Meg Matthews in the late 1990s, was used on their Buckinghamshire estate and is expected to sell for £5,000 to £10,000.

Other auction items include platinum records awarded to Oasis producer Owen Morris, stage equipment, and rare band images captured by photographer Jill Furmanovsky.

All items will be on display at the Together We’ll Fly exhibition, held at the Cumberland Hotel near London’s Marble Arch, from Friday, October 18 to Sunday, October 20, with proceeds benefiting the Teenage Cancer Trust.

A preview exhibition will also be hosted at Propstore’s Hertfordshire office before the Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction kicks off in November.

“This auction is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for fans to own a piece of Oasis history. We are thrilled to see these iconic items find new homes in collections where they will be cherished for years,” said Mark Hochman, Propstore’s music and poster specialist.
