After the reconciliation of estranged brothers Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher and a UK and Ireland tour planned for next year, it seems their much-celebrated reform may now be brought to the screen in a documentary.
An insider, speaking to The Sun, mentioned that AppleTV+ bosses are reportedly eager to capture the brothers before their summer tour in a documentary similar to The Beatlesβ Get Back. This film showed the making of the iconic bandβs 1970 album, ‘Let It Be’.
βThis is set to be the film of the decade, with AppleTV+ offering huge money to secure the rights,β an insider told the newspaper.
βThey are competing with streamers like Amazon Prime and Netflix, but Apple is determined to win this one.β
βFans can expect it to follow the style of the Beatles documentary, offering a rare insight into the band.β
Oasis were previously featured in the 2016 documentary Oasis: Supersonic, which charted their rise to music stardom. NME praised it with a five-star review, calling it “rousing, heart-rending, and really funny.“
