Noel Gallagher spoke about his friend Paul Weller in his latest interview with the NME saying that Weller threatens him that if he reforms Oasis they won’t be friends anymore.
He threatens me that if I ever go back in Oasis that’ll be it between us. He’s always say’s ‘You f*cking heard all these f*cking things about your f*cking reunion?, and I’m like ‘Yeah, I know’ and he goes ‘You’re not f*cking doing it?’ and I’m like ‘No’, and he’s going ‘Good good good.
He then added: “Basically, if Oasis ever did get back together, which is highly unlikely, I’d have to leave London and move back to Manchester. Because he’d put my windows in”.
About Noel’s solo album ‘Chasing Yesterday’ Paul Weller said:
“I really like it, I think it’s great. It’s one of those things you’ve got to hear a few times – two or three listens, I reckon – but I thought it was great. It’s a little bit like part two but in a great way – he’s got great songs and that’s what he does, great melodies and choruses. He’s singing and playing well on it, it’s a good record”.
