Tom Jones said he hoped to impress Liam Gallagher fans at Isle of Wight Festival.
The British singer said talked with Daily Star showbiz reporter Sam Mayers this week.
Both stars are set to play, back-to-back, on the Friday night of the festival in September.
Tom said:
I admire Liam and Oasis — and if I can make some of his fans into Tom Jones fans too, that’s fantastic.
