Wonderwall by Oasis was voted the biggest song in the past twenty years by the Austalian radio network, Triple J.
Over 940,000 votes were cast by Australian radio listeners. Only songs released between January 1, 1993 and December 31, 2012 were eligible.
The White Stripes’ Seven Nation Army was second on the list followed by Jeff Buckley’s Last Goodbye, Hilltop Hoods’ The Nosebleed Section, The Verve’s Bitter Sweet Symphony, Foo Fighters’ Everlong, The Killers Mr. Brightside, Powderfinger’s These Days, Gotye’s Somebody That I Used to Know, and Powderfinger’s My Happiness rounded out the top 10.
